Benton Cacao Moist and Mild Cream
New review is about Benton's latest new products which was launched last July 2017.
I was supposed to receive this during their launching event for review purposes. But the post office here took quite a long time to notice me that my package already arrived there. It isn't easy to call and email the post office as they don't answer back fast.
Anyway, the important thing is I finally received it!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Now, let's talk about the brand and their product. I am very curious about Benton Cosmetics as I heard good reviews on their BHA Aloe Soothing Toner which I'll be trying soon.
Did you know that "Benton" is inspired by and named after the movie 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' in which Benjamin Button grows younger with time. Interesting, right? 😎
Anyway, according to Benton Cosmetics Cacao Moist and Mild Cream is a lightweight cream made of healthy ingredients. Having a light texture, even a generous amount of the cream does not leave skin heavy. Cacao extracts and hyaluronic acid helps to replenish dry skin, leaving it dewy and vibrant. It is suitable for all skin types.
Skin benefits are light weight texture, suitable for summer, moist finish, water-oil balance, mild formula.
Major ingredient of the product are:
63% Cacao Extract and 10% Cacao Seed Butter wherein these ingredients helps to moisturize, soften skin and retain moisture.
Complete list of ingredients: Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Water, Sorbitan Olivate, 1,2-Hexandiol, Pentylene Glycol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Extract, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polyglutamic Acid, Madecassoside, Beta-Glucan, Carbomer, Arginine, Xanthan Gum.
Performance
Packaging: The packaging of this is in baby pink designed with leaves which makes it look pretty and nice. It's a 50ml tube type product which is great for me because it is more hygienic and easy to carry around.
Smell: It's fragrance-free!! ☺️
My thoughts: Since, I have oily/combination skin and lives in a humid country I am hesitant with using creams. But, this cream changed my view on cream moisturizers because it is true that it is indeed a lightweight cream that I can use all year around. I like using this because my skin absorbs the cream quick. It doesn't feel sticky and it's easy to apply on the skin. After applying, my skin feels soft and smooth. I didn't see a dewy finish on me. Also, I still do get oily but manageable for me.
Overall, I still like this product because it is a good light product for everyday use.
Tip: If you have oily skin like me, apply only a thin layer.
Please keep in mind that this cream may work as a nice moisturizer for me, but it may or may not work for you because we all have different skin types.
